Backstory

Manju is a member of the Lycoris Ranhana clan that resides on the planet Rilieth. She was a regular drone who regularly took part in searches for victims for the clan to feed off of, and it was on one of those searches she first encountered Camellia. Camellia shared her vision for peace with Manju, but Manju only scoffed and said Ranhana would never live like that, and continued on her mission for her Queen. Arriving on Knon, a moon of Pentas, astrange feeling overtook Manju and a ball of light appeared, leaving an earring in Manju's palm. Words came to her mind, and as she put the earring into her left hear she cried them out, "Knon Power! Make Up!"

As Sailor Knon, Manju felt powerful but there was also another strange feeling. She could no longer hear the hive mind in her consciousness, and found herself about to think on her own for the first time. With her new power she was able to easily win any fights and kill her foes, but now she had these troubling thoughts rising within her. She began to to visit Knon regularly to deal with these thoughts, and it was there that she met Saka, and Edionan who had come to Knon to explore. Right when she was about to kill him, he begged her to take him to her home planet first. Confused, Manju asked him why, and learned that he wanted to explore all the worlds of the Palladium System. Manju scoffed and asked him what else was there to see, and he begun to tell her about his travels to to Ive.

Entranced by his storytelling, Manju abandoned her plan to kill him and instead listened. She started to visit him regularly, finding that aside from fighting to the death, his stories were the only things that made her not have to think. Eventually Saka revealed that he had fallen in love with her, and Manju realised that she reciprocated this odd feeling. It was not to last though, as her Queen, having sensed the change in Manju, had sent a Campanula drone to follow her one night, and upon discovering the lovers had them captured and brought before her. Saka threw himself in front of Manju when a Glycina attacked Manju, and was impaled on her leg, sending Manju into a rage, before bringing her to tears for the first time in her life. She promised Saka to live freely, and then transformed into Sailor Knon, defeating everyone and taking over as Queen. With her new outlook on life, Manju remembered her meeting with Camellia, and deicded it was time to seek her out...
